The Carrollton City Council continues to take a proactive approach to banning new STRs. They recently approved the extension of a contract with a STR software company.

We recently spoke to the senior engineer at the City of Carrollton and have an update on the major construction projects that are currently planned for Frankford Road and Hebron Parkway to upgrade the quality of those roads. Median landscaping will be enhanced at the same time. They will be removing and then replacing the current concrete in all lanes and medians, while keeping their current configuration of lanes and medians once the project is completed.

At the most recent City Council meeting on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, our Chief of Police presented updated crime trends, and the news was definitely encouraging! Overall calls for service are down from 2022 through 2025.
