Get to know Deb...
My family moved to Magnolia Drive on April Fools' Day in 1993 when our sons were 2 and 5 years old. It was my first opportunity to be a stay-at-home mom, and I was so thankful for the welcome I received to this neighborhood.
The boys spent hours playing in the Cambridgeshire cul-de-sac, and I joined the babysitting coop, a Pokeno group, and volunteered at Kent Elementary. We also joined the Woodgate Neighborhood Association, and I became a Block Captain and later served on the board.
Fast forward to 2025, as I look back on the past 32 years of making memories as a resident of Woodgate, obviously lots of things have changed, but the blessings of living in such a great neighborhood remain the same. I am currently serving as a Block Trustee and am a "charter member" of the new Woodgate Cares Committee and have decided to run for WNA Secretary so that I can be a part of the next chapter for our great community.
I hope that whoever is elected to the new WNA Board will seek to work together for the betterment of each family in Woodgate and will encourage every person who wants to be involved to use their gifts, skills and talents to make Woodgate a great place to live for everyone.
Unfortunately, I cannot be at our meeting on October 18th because of a long-standing commitment to my family, but I would appreciate your consideration of a vote for me.
Thank you!
