Building or Renovation in Woodgate? There are two things to consider:

1. Is there a deed restriction that would prohibit the construction?

This is a function of the WNA Architectural Committee. Our Architectural Committee can give you quick advice. Just send them an email at: Review@WoodgateNeighbors.com

2. Do I need a Building Permit from the City?

This is a function of the City of Carrollton with the support of Woodgate residents and the WNA. That depends on the work being done. The best advice is check with the City of Carrollton first.

Woodgate Neighborhood Association has developed a great relationship with the City of Carrollton Environmental Services Department which oversees and enforces city code violations and enforcement. Nearly all of the neighborhood violations are code violations. WNA works with all residents to monitor the neighborhood and provide notice of possible violations before forwarding them to the city.
