Our 2026 Woodgate Neighborhood Survey collected 72 responses from actively engaged neighbors, providing insights into neighborhood demographics, membership, priorities, communication preferences, social events, and community concerns.

If you’ve been down in the Lower Magnolia area of Woodgate, you’ve likely seen the Douthit family out and about. Tony and Jordan have lived at 1219 Magnolia Drive with their children Aiden, Eleanor, and Theo since 2020.

On Saturday, March 21, we had a great turnout for our Woodgate Entrances Clean Up. A big thank you to everyone who came out to help weed, trim, and freshen up the Clinton and Birch entrances.

Can you feel it? Warmer weather is on the way and Spring is right around the corner! Now is an excellent time to begin pruning shrubs, clearing flower beds and refreshing your landscaping to help contribute to the overall beauty of our neighborhood. Simple tasks can make a big difference!

If you have lived in Woodgate for any length of time, chances are you already know Dawn and Michael Gonzales of 1202 Magnolia Drive. They purchased their home back in 2000, arriving with a one-year-old son, a seven-year-old daughter, and a thirteen-year-old daughter. Over the past 26 years, they've watched their children grow up, attend local schools, and build lives of their own.

Just a reminder that as of this past October, Carrollton updated their residential brush and bulk waste removal rules under a new contract with Republic Services.

I want to share another topic in our ongoing series of the Woodgate Neighborhood Educational Series. One of the most important steps any neighborhood association can take is securing General Liability insurance.

Block Captains are just friendly neighbors who volunteer to help keep Woodgate connected around the street they live on. They’re neighbors who act as a go-between for homeowners and the WNA, so information doesn’t get lost and people know what’s going on.

As part of our new Woodgate Neighborhood Educational Series, we wanted to take a moment and provide some information regarding how we protect our neighborhood and the neighbors who volunteer for the WNA.

Susan Michell, our new Government Relations Liaison, shares a quick and reassuring update from the City of Carrollton. At the most recent City Council meeting on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, our Chief of Police presented updated crime trends, and the news was definitely encouraging! Overall calls for service are down from 2022 through 2025.

Say hello to one of Woodgate’s newest residents, the Wolpert family of 1038 Magnolia Drive! Chris and Annmarie Wolpert moved into the neighborhood in July of 2025, trading high rise living in Downtown Dallas for their first home and a new chapter in suburban life.

As a reminder, our CC&Rs filed by the original developer of Woodgate are binding and enforceable on every property in the subdivision. They were created to establish a level of quality and to help protect the long-term value, appearance and enjoyment of our neighborhood.

Say hello to the Crowley family of 1211 Magnolia Drive! Matt and Vi Crowley, along with their five-year-old daughter Dylan, have called Woodgate home for nearly six years. Both Matt and Vi grew up in the DFW area, and from the moment they discovered Woodgate, it just felt like the right fit.
