1. Strengthening our Neighborhood
A WNA Membership helps build a stronger, more connected Woodgate that you can feel proud of. When more residents participate, communication improves, events grow and the neighborhood feels more unified. It also puts us in a better position to handle neighborhood concerns that could arise, including any potential future legal expenses that may come with enforcing our CC&Rs through the Architectural Committee. The more support behind the WNA, the more effectively we can protect the character and long-term value of our subdivision.
2. Stronger Representation with the City of Carrollton
When more households join the WNA, Woodgate speaks with a united voice. That gives the neighborhood more influence in conversations about STRs, zoning, traffic, safety, and long-term improvements. With stronger WNA participation, we can also advocate more effectively for safety and security projects that keep our neighborhood protected. A larger, more engaged membership also helps ensure we’re taken seriously when we ask for action from the City of Carrollton.
3. A Bigger Voice in Neighborhood Priorities
WNA Members help guide decisions about projects like entrance landscaping, events, safety efforts and long term improvements. Your dues give you a direct voice in what the association focuses on, but our goal is always to make decisions that benefit all of Woodgate. Membership allows the people who are investing in the neighborhood to help shape priorities, while the WNA continues working to support the entire community as a whole.
4. Staying Connected and Informed
WNA Membership ensures you also get reliable updates through our website, official monthly email newsletter, official Facebook group, or door-to-door flyers. From neighborhood discussions to city announcements to timely safety alerts, you’ll always be in the loop. Better communication keeps all of us connected, safer and better prepared for what’s ahead.
5. More Neighborhood Events and Ways to Connect
Yearly dues also help fund the events neighbors are consistently ask for: more social gatherings, family activities, the Fall Festival, and Holiday in the Park. They all rely on membership support. These moments bring the neighborhood together and help everyone feel more connected.
