Just a reminder that as of this past October, Carrollton updated their residential brush and bulk waste removal rules under a new contract with Republic Services.

Residents must now ensure all tree limbs, branches, and brush are cut into 4-foot lengths, bundled, and placed at the curb, with combined brush/bulk piles not exceeding 3 cubic yards for weekly, same-day pickup.
Key rules and changes include:
Bundling Required: Brush (limbs/branches) must be tied into bundles weighing no more than 40 pounds to fit in a rear-end loader.
Size Limit: Total brush and bulk waste (including appliances) must not exceed 3 cubic yards per household per week.
Placement: Items must be on your front curb (not in the alley) by 6:30 a.m. on your collection day, but no earlier than 6 p.m. the evening before.
Separation: Keep brush and bulk waste piles at least 3 feet apart.
Items Not Accepted: Concrete, tires, and railroad ties are not accepted.
Contract Changes: The new, stricter enforcement aims to reduce loose trash, and non-compliant items may not be picked up.
