Highlights from our Fall Festival & Potluck

If you weren’t able to make it to this year’s Fall Festival and Potluck, you may want to go ahead and mark your calendar for the next one. Maple Court turned into a cozy fall hangout as 45 neighbors stopped by throughout the evening for what felt like the perfect blend of comfort food, good company and easygoing fun. Not to mention we gathered lots of canned goods to donate to Metrocrest Services too!

The potluck table was the real star of the night! Everyone brought their best, and we enjoyed dishes like savory BBQ Pork Sliders, an amazing Texas chili, creamy mac and cheese, Brie and Cranberry Tarts, crispy chicken tenders, an assortment delicious cookies and plenty of other homemade favorites. There was no shortage of seconds or compliments!

Kids had their own corner of excitement with coloring activities and a playful photobooth filled with costumes. The laughter made it clear they were having as much fun as the adults. Meanwhile, the weather could not have been better. Neighbors grabbed a chair, settled in under the cool fall sky and caught up with one another as the evening drifted by.

The best part is that the Festival sparked even more ideas for next year. A football themed gathering was a popular suggestion, complete with a big screen to show a game, game day snacks and another round of potluck favorites. It is already shaping up to be something special.

Now the countdown begins for our next neighborhood tradition, Holiday in the Park, on Sunday, December 14. More details are on the way soon, and we cannot wait to see everyone back together again!
