We're happy to announce our Block Captains! Block Captains are volunteer neighbors who help keep their street informed and connected. They also help welcome new residents, share neighborhood updates, and make sure neighbors know how to connect with us online and subscribe to our Woodgate newsletter.
They’re also someone neighbors can reach out to if they have questions or concerns about the neighborhood. If something needs the Board’s attention, the Block Captain can help relay that information.
We’re grateful to our following neighbors who've already stepped up to volunteer:
Cambridgeshire
• Michelle Cox (2825 Cambridgeshire)
Clinton
• Cheryl Watkins (1037 Clinton)
• Marilyn Paa (1005 Clinton)
Mackie
• Lorrie Engel (1200 Mackie)
Magnolia
• Deb Moss (1023 Magnolia)
• Vi Crowley (1211 Magnolia)
• Ellen McLoughlin (1003 Magnolia)
Maple Court
• Jeni Gerberich (2910 Maple)
Mesquite
• OPEN
Redwood
• Melanie Harris (2906 Redwood)
Staffordshire
• Sharon Butler (2913 Staffordshire)
Sycamore
• OPEN
We Need Two More! We still have two Block Captain spots available for Mesquite and Sycamore. If you live on one of those streets and would like to help keep your neighbors connected and informed, we’d love to hear from you.
It’s a simple volunteer role and a great way to help strengthen the sense of community that makes Woodgate such a special neighborhood.
If you're interested, please reach out to Gary Gunter (WNA Vice President) to get started.
