Meet Your Neighbors: Matt and Vi Crowley

Say hello to the Crowley family of 1211 Magnolia Drive! Matt and Vi Crowley, along with their five-year-old daughter Dylan, have called Woodgate home for nearly six years. Both Matt and Vi grew up in the DFW area, and from the moment they discovered Woodgate, it just felt like the right fit.

They were drawn in by the character of the neighborhood. The homes have personality, the trees are mature, and everything feels thoughtfully cared for. They also appreciate how easy it is to get anywhere in the DFW Metroplex from Woodgate, while still enjoying a quieter, close knit feel. With nearby parks and plenty of space to explore, it has been a wonderful place for Dylan to grow up, and they've also loved getting to know lots of their neighbors along the way.

From a professional perspective, Matt works as an architect at a Texas firm that designs schools, commercial spaces, and corporate buildings. A large part of his work actually supports school districts across the state, helping create learning environments that serve students and communities for years to come.

Vi works in the global mobility industry, helping companies manage their employees who move or travel for work. Whether someone is relocating across the country, heading overseas for an assignment or a permanent move, her role focuses on helping companies use technology to manage this population.

As a family, the Crowley's enjoy spending time together exploring the area. Some of their favorite outings include trips to the Dallas Arboretum, visits to the Dallas and Fort Worth Zoos, afternoons at the Perot Science Museum, and plenty of time at local parks. They also make regular trips to Fort Worth to spend time with family.

Outside of work and family time, Vi loves baking sweets and also volunteers with Lasagna Love, where she prepares homemade lasagnas for families who could use a little extra support. Matt has recently started playing Pickleball and is always happy to meet neighbors who are up for a friendly game.

The Crowley's also enjoy a good adventure! Recently, the family was in Portugal for vacation. They spent some time in Lisbon exploring and eating pastel de natas, went up to Sintra to see Pena Palace and drove down south to enjoy the beaches in the Algarve region. Matt has also completed a marathon, and Vi once tackled a challenging four-day hike to Machu Picchu!

For the Crowley family, Woodgate is more than just a convenient place to live. It is a neighborhood with character, friendly faces, and a sense of community they truly value. Be sure to stop and say Hello the next time you see them around the neighborhood!
