Meet Your Neighbors: The Douthit Family

If you’ve been down in the Lower Magnolia area of Woodgate, you’ve likely seen the Douthit family out and about. Tony and Jordan have lived at 1219 Magnolia Drive with their children Aiden, Eleanor and Theo since 2020.

They were immediately drawn to our neighborhood's character. The tall trees, the birds and the bunnies hopping through the yards made it feel real...unlike those cookie-cutter developments you often find around the DFW area.

Jordan works from home in the Software as a Service (SaaS) industry, while Tony stays busy as a Physician Assistant and a Carrollton Firefighter. As a matter of fact, he works right down the street at Fire Station 6. Close enough to where the family enjoys cheering him on whenever they hear the sirens.

When they aren't working or busy with the kids, they love to spend time outdoors. They enjoy hiking, exploring and simply being in the fresh air together. They're also active in their church and volunteer whenever they can.

One of their favorite spots to hang out locally is Three Nations Brewing in downtown Carrollton. It’s one of those casual places where they can relax with the kids while enjoying great food and drinks.

And let's not forget Lexi, their Golden Doodle! She is full of energy, loves meeting people and always greets anyone who comes by.

For the Douthit family, Woodgate just feels right. They feel it has personality, is welcoming and is the kind of place where you can really get to know your neighbors.
