Neighbor Safety Reminder: Looking Out for One Another

We wanted to pass along some information that was shared with us about an incident that occurred on Clinton this past Thursday.

A homeowner discovered an unknown man in their backyard. When they went outside to investigate, the man ran away. Carrollton Police were immediately contacted.

Later that same day, the same man was seen on the front porch of another nearby home near the corner of Clinton and Maple Court. Neighbors said he appeared to be trying to open the front door before running off when someone approached him, leaving his shoes behind.

The Carrollton Police later located and arrested a man matching the description neighbors were able to provide them. Luckily, no one was harmed or property damaged during this incident!

We're sharing this to simply remind everyone that it's always a good idea to stay aware of what's happening around your home and be looking out for your neighbors as well. If you notice something that doesn't seem right, trust your instincts and report it. A quick call to the Carrollton Police Department can make all the difference!

Thankfully, our neighbors noticed something was out of the ordinary, looked out for one another, and contacted the police. That's exactly how a strong neighborhood works!
