Great news! I am happy to report that the water at our Clinton entrance off Old Denton is flowing again! The repairs to the pipeline extension to Clinton has been completed by the City of Carrollton, and new sprinklers have been installed. After several years of start and stops, we’re finally back in business. It honestly feels a little like Christmas in October!
This project definitely took a lot of teamwork and patience. A big "Thank You" goes to John Hannon from the City of Carrollton’s Parks Administration for his help and positive attitude throughout this process. His support made a big difference in getting things moving.
I also want to recognize a few neighbors who’ve been involved in this effort over the past three years: Jim Wilson and Patti Patak both shared valuable information that helped us better understand the situation, and former WNA President and Vice President Sarah Eaton provided materials that were tremendously helpful in conversations with the city.
Of course, many others have been involved over the past few years and we’re extremely grateful to everyone who stayed involved, had patience and kept this project on the radar.
The sprinklers are now connected to the city’s watering schedule, which means they’ll run on Sundays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays around 3:20 AM.
Beautification Committee…it’s your time to shine!
