The City of Carrollton's Water Conservation & Drought Contingency Plan is now in effect and runs through Friday, October 31. Under this plan, all Carrollton residents are asked to save water by following these easy guidelines:
The use of sprinkler systems is prohibited from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Outdoor watering is prohibited when rain is in the forecast.
Water run-off in excess of 50 feet from the property line is prohibited.
Irrigation systems must be properly maintained to prevent water waste.
Continue voluntary use of the twice-per-week watering schedule.
Hand watering of a flowerbed can be done at any time or on any day, but it has to be hand-held (no sprinklers).
Watering Schedule Based on Address:
Residential: Odd Number Addresses (Ending in 1,3,5,7,9) | Wednesday and Saturday |
Residential: Even Number Addresses (Ending in 0,2,4,6,8) | Thursday and Sunday |
