Water Restrictions in Effect

Just a reminder that the City of Carrollton’s Water Conservation & Drought Contingency Plan runs now through Saturday, October 31. Under the plan, all Carrollton water users are asked to save water by following the guidelines in place:

• The use of permanently installed automatic irrigation systems (i.e. sprinklers) is prohibited from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.  

  
  

• Outdoor watering is prohibited when rain is in the forecast.    

• Water run-off in excess of 50 feet from the property line is prohibited.    

• Irrigation systems must be properly maintained to prevent water waste.  

  
  

• Continue voluntary use of the twice-per-week watering schedule.
